Southwest Middle School believes individual students will benefit through opportunities to grow physically and intellectually through their experience in self-discipline and their contribution to team effort made possible through competitive extracurricular activities.
District 24 is a member of the Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) and the Big 9 Conference. The rules, regulations, and forms required are the same for all levels of school-sponsored athletics. To be eligible to participate in a sport, students must comply with MSHSL regulations as well as specific District 24 rules.
